As I'm sure many of you know, the BlogHer conference starts tomorrow, and in Second Life they're running a set of virtual world specific sessions for the first time. I'm speaking on one on Saturday at 10:30 SLT/PST, 4:30 GMT and asked the Second Life organizer Queen Tureaud, who in real life is Erin Kotecki Vest, if we could record the sessions for the "Metaversed Sessions" series of podcasts.

I'll be able to cover a lot of them, but im in Denmark, so i'd really appreciate a hand on hte later ones if anyone is interested (and knows how, or has a mac..) in recording those ones. IM 57 Miles, or email nick@metaversed.com if you can help!

Funny, the BlogHer guys and me keep running into each other. I covered them back in 2004 or maybe 2005 when they started, met again through Jen McClure of SNCR.org in 2006, and now once more, in Second Life... Im really pleased to finally GO to one of their gigs lol!

If you didnt get in, (sim just maxed) then im going to simulcast the audio and take IM questions on saturday at 10:30 SLT and other sessions if I'm able, so just stay tuned and i'll give details when i work them out..

Now in its third year, the BlogHer conference is considered one of the foremost events on the new media calendar. This year it comes to the virtual world of Second Life for the very first time, and will feature many of the things you'd expect to see at the real world conference this summer. Over July 27th and 28th, residents of Second Life will be able to attend inworld sessions, listen to audio feeds from the live conference and network at virtual parties.
