Metaversed.com's First Friday Tech Expo in Second Life is a monthly event that showcases the very best new technologies being produced by the talented, innovative scripters, builders, designers and entrepreneurs of the virtual world.
Where and When
This months event will be held at the as yet unfinished Metaversed Island, in a temporary amphitheater on Friday 7th September 2007 - 12 Noon PST A landmark will be posted to the Metaversed group inworld, and also to this page as within the next 24hrs.
Attending First Friday
The First Friday events max out the sim in a matter of minutes. If you plan on attending, you're advised to arrive at least a half hour early to ensure a spot. You can generally find the event listing posted on this page a few days before each individual event, but if you need help, just IM Tynan Clary inworld.
Press Passes
Though there's no way to ensure a pass for press, we do go out of our way to help where possible. Everything from Second Life orientation to help with getting interviews and private demo's with the exhibitors can be arranged, you just need to let us know you'll be attending in good time.
