Metaversed Welcomes New Columnist Lenore Collins

Tagged:

I'm very pleased to announce the addition of Lenore Collins to the Metaversed team today. Lenore is known as Savannah Glimmer in Second Life, and I honestly don't know anybody that works harder than her. She co-runs the Orientation Station project, a new Orientation Island being designed to help improve the first experiences of newcomers to the virtual world, represents various businesses both virtual and real, and is a consistant and respected presence within the virtual business community.

Lenore will be writing a new column, Metaversed Mentor, for Metaversed which will focus oh helping those new to Second Life find their feet.

Welcome aboard Lenore!

As a long time SL friend of Lenores I thought I'd ditto Nicks comments about her. One of the most helpful, friendly, outgoing and hard working people in SL that I know. I know her column will be full of very helpful friendly advice for new Second Lifers.

Welcome Lenore!

I read Metaversed all the time but am hopeless at second life. My avatar looks awful and a lot of time I find myself under water, or failing that completely lost.

Welcome Lenore, I shall read your column with interest.

Welcome, Lenore. You picked a great team to work with. I look forward to meeting you in-world!

One thing that I have found is Savannah is an answer person.
You can always go to her to find answers.
If you need to send a gift without revealing your identity
she sends you to Buddy Gift.
If you need more participants in your trade show, Savannah
now has 10 more companies signing up.
If you need to know how to do something, Savannah is either asking you
to help out someone or finding you an answer.
Those of us that know her, marvel at the amount of time she is logged in.
I believe Savannah to be a welcome addition to any group and will join
this one because of her participation.

Thank you RaeAnn! You too are a marvelous woman and I am humbled by your comments. I look forward to helping many new people in Second Life, together.

Klaatu, thank you.  You are the same way, so helpful and hard working.  Thank you for joining Metaversed and for being the wonderful friend that you are.

Thank you Caleb : ))

Jmatesty, Second Life is a world of great opportunity and vision.  We'll help you get your avatar tuned up and if you are under water, just tp yourself out.  Don't you wish real life were so simple? : )  Thank you for your interest and I hope my new column is helpful.  Feel free to write or IM with questions. I'm always happy to help. Lenore  In World (IW) Savannah Glimmer

Hi Aaron, I seem to travel in the same SL circle as 57 and so I agree with you that I am with a great team.  He said in his podcast that I am everywhere, but he must be also  to know that. : )  Thank you for your welcome.

Far Out! *wink*

Welcome Savannah, or Lenore it probably was one of greatest things happen to me in SL - was getting to know you. I will read your posts with great pleasure :)

Thank you, partner.

Hi Robbie! I'm truly honored by your comments and also at a loss for words. We have made a difference in SL, I believe, and the day Meta Mart and Splendor by Rose joined together technology and fashion was truly a highlight for me. You have been a fantastic person to know and work with and I look forward to the many great projects in our future, including Orientation Station.

For old times sake: http://metaversed.com/07-may-2007/gowns-and-gadgets Wow was it just a month ago? Seems likes years : ))

Savannah Glimmer is one of the friendliest and most informative people I have met in SL. We met some time back at a Silicon City Trade Expo and have been trading chats ever since. She really is a 'go to' person in SL. It's great to see she will have a voice here in Metaversed.com to share her knowledge and experiences with us all.

We all look forward to Orientation Island!

Good Luck Lenore in all that you do !!

I think it's been since ITE that I meant to spend time looking over Gridocity, fna directory2L. Today was the day I did more than browse and of course clicking on gadgets was the first thing I did. I use a product or two from all of the people in that list. You're done a fantastic job with this directory so far and I like that it covers a variety of metaverses. I hope Orientation Station will have a listing under the Second Life tab. : )

Thank you for your well wishes and thank you for the name of who you believe is the longest active resident. So far March, 2002 is the oldest date reported.
