Its a great show, but sadly no whow notes as there just isn't time. I'll try to update that later on today!

I hate using the phone as well, however I love talking to people using Voice in SL. I think people have to realize that holding a conversation in SL is very different from holding a conversation in real life. In real life when you talk to people, you're expected to talk back to them immediately because you're there. However in SL people are always multi-tasking so it's a bit different. And one-on-one conversations are obviously a lot different from group conversations in terms of expected response. Normally I just tell people that I'm going afk and they're cool with that.

I've really enjoyed using voice so far and even when I don't want to use voice I'll sit, listen, and respond by typing.

Well, there is a simple mechanism that one can use to inform others that one does not wish to use voice: saying "sorry, I don't use voice", or "sorry, I can't use voice right now". Anybody who challenges that and demands an explanation is being rude and intrusive, quite frankly, and I would not wish to speak to them in any case if they have no social graces.

That's a fair point ordinal :)
