Earlier today I met with Johnny Austin, the man behind the Good Samaritan Group Tech Expo that kicks off today with over 40 exhibitors and a ton of enthusiastic attendees and sponsors all gathered together to network, demo new products and have fun! Johnny tells me this is the first expo, and that his motivation was in part "to challenge" himself an his marketing skills. If the buzz and atmosphere was anything to go by an hour ago, I'd say that this expo is well on it's way to being a success.

The expo is being held on Convention Center Island, and as well as vendor stands, features all manner of education (classes, lectures etc) and entertainment daily. I'll be there on and off all this week so if you plan to drop in, IM me, and if you're exhibiting, do likewise!
